SPORTFEST By: Adrian Eugenio & Carole Estabaya
The 1st DDC Land Inc. Sportsfest culminated on Saturday, May 29, 2010, at the Santa Rosa Garden Villas Grounds. The Sportsfest kicked-off with a Fun Run for men and women. Slim Jocjoc Ponggan of Marketing finished 1st in the Women’s Division while lean Lance Tababa of Motorpool Department arrived 1st in the Men’s Division.

Bingo Bonanza – a crowd drawer
Lots of bingo players from all walks of life participated in our Bingo Bonanza at Santa Rosa Garden Villas 3. As early as 3pm on May 15, bingo players swarmed the area to prepare for the game and at exactly 4pm, the game started. Ed Tejero and Bessie Catindig, game announcers, called out the numbers. It was a fun game that lasted until 10pm with multiple winners of the 12 games of P10,000 each and the blackout games of P50,000.
DDC LAND INC. EMPLOYEES SPORTSFEST
DDC Land Inc. Employees Sportsfest culminated on Saturday, May 29, 2010, at the grounds of Garden Villas 3 in Malusak, Sta. Rosa City. There were four teams – Blue, Green, Yellow and Pink – that participated in different sports competition like bowling, basketball, volleyball, badminton, dart, obstacle race, tug-of-war and fun run. The event was spearheaded by Buyback Dept. Head, Adrian Eugenio, who painstakingly planned for the success of this first-ever Sports Festival.
The management led by EVP Edna Sutter and President Martin Sutter awarded the trophies to the following team winners: Champion Green Team, 1st runner-up Yellow Team, 2nd runner-up Blue Team and 3rd runner-up Pink Team. It was a surprise when EVP Edna Sutter announced that all teams will have cash prizes.
Hooray for DDC Land, Inc.! Hooray for all the employees who participated in the first-ever company sportsfest! See you all in next year’s sports competition!
