Juerg and Hedwig Sutter visit RP

DDC Land President, Mr. Martin Sutter welcomes his parents together with EVP Edna Sutter. Mr. & Mrs. Juerg Erwin Sutter and Hedwig Anna Marie arrived on Friday, Jan. 23, 2010 from Switzerland, the first time they visited the Philippines. Mr. Sutter proudly presents the newly renovated unit 101 of the main office in Marbella Condominium. Mrs. Hedwig Anna Marrie, unfortunately did not make it. The newly occupied unit 101 is the office of CRD & Buyback Dept. Marketing & Sales Dept. and Documentation Dept. The employees welcome the visitors with warm hospitality, as Filipinos known to be. Mr. Juerg Sutter is very proud of his son, Martin and daughter-in law, Edna for a very successful business venture in the country.
Likewise, he is very pleased with the employees of DDC Land for the love and support given to the leadership of Martin and Edna Sutter. On Thursday, Jan. 28, 2010, Martin and Edna Sutter tour the couple to the project site in Sta. Rosa Garden Villas after enjoying the cool weather of Tagaytay. They were mesmerized at the cleanliness and orderliness at the site of Garden Villas, and were struck in such a beautiful subdivision, which is in total contrast in what they have seen outside of Garden Villas (makalat, mabaho, magulo at marumi). The couple was introduced to POM Engr. Charlie Reotutar, Admin officers Nelson Morrondoz and Cita Carvajal, to other site engineers and to the Marketing Officers during the visit.
Garden Villas Planting Strips
Sta. Rosa Garden Villas lives up to its name. The community, wherever located is surrounded by plants and trees. The planting strips in every housing unit are .60m. from the secondary road and 1.20m from the main road. DDC Land, Inc. the developer spent so much for the purchase of trees and plants that surrounds the community. Trees as we all know make the environment cooler and safe from the heat of the sun and from heavy rains. Plants of various kinds make the atmosphere beautiful, clean and green. The site administration guards against illegal cutting of trees, destroying and picking up flowers in all the areas of the subdivision. Anyone caught in violation of the regulations will be dealt with accordingly.
DDC LAND’S GENERAL ASSEMBLY AT THE MAKATI SPORTS CLUB
Traditionally, Filipinos are celebrating Christmas and New year season generously and abundantly. During this day, every member of the family are very busy doing their own tasks, from the parents to the youngest member of the family. Even the small kids has their own share too on how to make their self busy. In DDC Land, there is certain gatherings that yearly all employees should prepare with, The General Assembly.
Last January 4-6 right after the long holidays, all employees of DDC Land were engaged with a 3-day seminar and workshop wherein all managers and supervisors are the speakers. It was really a one of a kind seminar sponsored by owner-developer, Mr. & Mrs. Martin and Edna Sutter. The seminar was inspired by the book of Stephen M. R. Covey entitled “THE SPEED OF TRUST – The One Thing that Changes Everything”. It was really very important to every individual especially in everyday lives, whether a student, a professional or an ordinary people. For instance, in the second wave, it consists of 13 Behaviors where in gaining Trust is so important, because it really can make you a better person and it can also break you as well. We will be having another assembly anytime this March to measure whether what we have learned is being practiced.

• Seek medical attention immediately • Get to a cool location • Remove clothing and apply cool (but not too cold) water to the skin • Keep cool air circulating
Refurbishing the Basketball Court of Garden Villas I
The Board of Directors of Garden Villas I Homeowners Association led by its President Merlyn Portugal and Vice President Danilo Francisco request DDC Land, Inc. developer of Garden Villas, to refurbish the basketball court to prepare the area in its coming Basketball and Volleyball Summer League this March. The letter given to DDC Land President Martin Sutter approved the request and granted the total amount of P8, 115 to purchase construction materials, as well as materials to be used for the volleyball and basketball tournament which include Basketball Molten, Volleyball Molten and Volleyball net. The items are for the safekeeping of the Board Members. The HOA members start cleaning the area with the youth members, and as soon as the court is ready, the tournament begins. According to the organizer of the tournament, Danilo Francisco VP, HOA GV I and Chairman Sports Committee the competition starts anytime this summer, and the organization is on its planning stage.
GARDEN SQUARE – IN FULL SWING
Above photo is the perspective rendering of the new face of the commercial area of Garden Villas. DDC Land, Inc. commissioned respective architects whose specialization is in designing commercial establishments, like that of SM and Robinson’s, to render the design of Garden Square. In over a year this has been planned and careful studies were made for the sake of the buyers of Garden Villas.
